Bespoke Interactive Demo
Every gamer knows that the secret sauce behind some of the world’s biggest games, and most powerful desktops and laptops, is NVIDIA® graphics processing units (GPUs).
NVIDIA wanted to allow gamers to instantly identify an NVIDIA gaming machine, whilst educating them in an entertaining and intuitive way. They contacted us to discuss the creation of a bespoke interactive demo, to showcase the power and usability of their products to in-store visitors.
This interactive demo is a Windows 10 App, for easy installation by store staff on any machine that featured NVIDIA technology. Once launched, the demo would run through an ‘attract loop’ to draw shopper attention with videos of the latest games, interspersed with targeted calls-to-action and NVIDIA technology messaging. If a shopper chooses to interact with the machine, the full system specs are detected and presented including detailed features such as MAX-Q or SLI.
If the customer wants to experience the operating system, a fully secure ‘sandbox’ of Windows 10 is available. The system also includes the integration of the Steam gaming platform, to allow users the chance to see the GPU in action.
A web-based customisation system was developed to allow OEMs to log in, create features, assign these features to specific models, and publish these updates directly to in-store computers.

All interaction data is uploaded to our secure metrics server for detailed reporting and analytics. NVIDIA can study the way customers interact with the demo, and make changes to the messaging, visuals and overall demo loop based on quantifiable observations and in-depth market research.
