Can you escape the ZOMB2BS?

Orckid were commissioned by Sharper B2B Marketing to produce some bespoke illustrations, and an interactive PDF adventure for a Halloween campaign.

CONCEPT

After an internal creative brainstorming session, Sharper came up with ‘ZomB2B’. The idea being to highlight Kuiper and NetApp as business saviours in a hybrid cloud world. A world where your existing data storage partners are “sucking the life out of you, and your business”,
or “draining your budget without solving your problems”.

Initial sketches for the ZomB2Bs

Orckid took Sharper’s initial concept idea and sketched out some design ideas for the ZomB2B characters, before turning them into beautiful (but scary) digital illustrations for the interactive PDF.

We also created a logo, a custom alphabet, and even some Health Serum to compliment the ZomB2B characters!

THE STORY

The premise of the interactive PDF is that users must successfully navigate their way out of the dark, ZomB2B-filled office, collecting 3 items crucial to their escape as they go.

At the end of the game, users are then prompted to enter their details, along with their three guesses. If correct, a Kuiper Goody Bag is sent out in the post, plus entry into a prize draw to win one of the top prizes, including huge retro sweet hampers, as well as Amazon and Just Eat gift cards.

SUMMING UP

This project was great fun to work on, and early indications point to successful levels of interaction. Initial client feedback has been extremely positive.
